Womanising celebs who had cheating fathers include Tiger Woods and Ryan Giggs, the Daily Mail reports.
The survey reports that while men tend to 'inherit' a cheating tendency from their fathers, girls are not affected in the same way if their mothers took lovers.
Men usually have affairs not because they unhappily married but because they want sex and a variety of sexual partners, says Jan Havlicek, of Prague University, who led the research. Women were most likely to stray if they were looking for a new partner.
