Heathrow technician Dave Edwards ran under a taxiing 747 jumbo jet to save a hedgehog from being crushed (The Sun, today).
Dave, 47, said: ‘He had a broken leg and was seconds away from being squashed. I couldn’t have his death on my conscience so I ran out and picked him up.
The hedgehog is now recovering at the Happy Hedgehog Rescue Centre, in Yateley, Hants.
