Charity cyclist Scott Brown, 34, now on a ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats, is taking a long way round because of his phobia for bridges.
The shortest road distance is 874 miles but Scott expects to ride nearer 1,000 miles in 15 days.
Scott is fund-raising for the RNIB because his dad has Age Related Macular Degeneration that at present is untreatable and is destined to go blind.
